Teaser Tuesday - {10th]

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
■Grab your current read
■Open to a random page
■Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page {I often use more!}
■BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
■Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

His smile is laced with dynamite. "Go to sleep." "Go to hell." He works his jaw. Walks to the door. "I'm working on it.

I have a Kindle! Woohoo! A Kindle Touch! I am in love with it!:D As soon as I got it, I automatically starting getting books from Amazon. Such as Hollowland by Amanda Hocking and Jenny Pox by J.L. Bryan. Which were free, by the way(:
His eyes dropped to her breasts and quickly up to her face again. Esmerine flushed in return. Humans seemed to treat bodies like nasty secrets, and she felt that way when she formed legs.

Waiting on Wednesday - {10th] This Is Not A Test

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine. It's where we share the upcoming releases that we are eagerly awaiting for and can't whait to get our hands on

It’s the end of the world. Six students have taken cover in Cortege High but shelter is little comfort when the dead outside won’t stop pounding on the doors. One bite is all it takes to kill a person and bring them back as a monstrous version of their former self. To Sloane Price, that doesn’t sound so bad. Six months ago, her world collapsed and since then, she’s failed to find a reason to keep going. Now seems like the perfect time to give up.

As Sloane eagerly waits for the barricades to fall, she’s forced to witness the apocalypse through the eyes of five people who actually want to live. But as the days crawl by, everyone’s motivations to survive begin to change in startling ways and soon the group’s fate is determined less and less by what’s happening outside and more and more by the unpredictable and violent bids for life–and death–inside.

When everything is gone, what do you hold on to?

Published Date: June 2012

This book peeked my interest the first time I saw it featured on a blog. I believe that the cover was revealed, so it got a spot on many blogs. It sounds interesting. I've heard about Courtney Summers but I haven't read a book by her. Her other book got great reviews, so I'm hoping this one will too. Too bad we have to wait all the way until June.

Waiting on Wednesday - {9th] Virtuosity

Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Jill at Breaking The Spine. It's where we share the upcoming releases that we can't whait to get our hands on!

Now is not the time for Carmen to fall in love. Two weeks before the most important violin competition of her career, she has bigger things to worry about—like growing out of that suffocating “child prodigy” label, and not disappointing her mother. But it isn’t just the wrong time. It’s the wrong guy. Jeremy is Carmen’s most talented rival, and according to her mother, he’s only interested in one thing: winning.
He isn’t the only one.
Carmen is so desperate to win she takes anti-anxiety drugs to control performance nerves. But what started a year ago as an easy fix is now a hungry addiction. Her mother insists now is not the time to quit, but Carmen is sick of not feeling anything on stage and even more sick of doing what she’s told.
When the darker side of the classical music industry and her mother's ambition collide, Carmen must choose between her career and her love for music.

Published Date: October 27th, 2011

I found this by browsing on Goodreads. It looks really interesting; sounds intriguing as well. I love books that are based around a music aspect. They are really fun to read. The protagonist sounds like an easy to follow type of girl. This is Jessica Martinez, the author's, debut novel. So no expectations here, only a good read.

Couldn't resist doing this meme. I got some great books that I wanted to show. Books that I have been wanting for a long time. :)

F.Y.I. The links lead to the description and everything on Goodreads.

The Duff by Kody Keplinger
Amy and Roger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson
Mercy by Rebecca Lim
Burnout {ARC] by Adrienne Maria Vrettos (Was on my W.O.W.)
Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini (Can not wait to start this book!)
Divergent by Veronica Roth
Hereafter by Tara Hudson (Also, can not wait to read this)

The other week, I got the ARC of Divergent. But seeing that I now have the hardcover copy of it, I'm passing it on. My best friend wanted to read this book, so it works out perfectly. I'm giving it to Kennedy @ Pretty Little Book-Head. You're welcome. :D
